News from Orcas Elementary
This week is National Children’s Book Week and the students of the 1st and 2nd grade multi age classes, along with their teachers Anne Ford McGrath and Lorena Stankevich would like thank the Kiwanis volunteers, especially Velma Doty, for coming to our class and reading one on one with students every week. We also greatly appreciate the financial support of an anonymous donor who helped provide leveled books for students to read in guided reading groups. Our reading program would not be what it is without this generous support!
