Thanks to the generous support of our community, the District is continuing to move forward with the Site Work and Safety Improvements Project funded through the recently approved levy. This project represents an important investment in the safety, accessibility, and long-term functionality of our campus.
During January and February, the project team has been focused on the design phase, working closely with our partners to refine plans that improve traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and overall site operations. These design efforts help ensure the project is thoughtful, efficient, and aligned with the needs of students, staff, families, and visitors.
At the same time, the District’s financial team has been working to secure the necessary funding and cash flow so the project can move forward efficiently once construction begins. Their work behind the scenes helps ensure the project can maintain momentum and stay on schedule.
The project has now moved into the permitting phase and is currently under review with San Juan County. As this process moves forward, several key milestones are coming up over the next few months.
